What is a Muskathlon?

'And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith' - Hebrews 12:2

The Muskathlon is an extreme endurance challenge, set in an extreme location. If you are looking for a challenge that will push you to the limit, as well as making a real difference for the persecuted church, the Muskathlon is for you!

Muskathlon's are run by 4M, an international ministry which helps disciple Christians and fight injustice.

The Muskathlon provides 3 challenges for those taking part:

  • Physical challenge - You choose your challenge:
    - Run 13, 26, or 39 miles
    - Trek 39 miles
    - Cycle 75 miles
The Muskathlon is the pinnacle event of a week-long trip. After a chance to acclimatise and practice , you’ll start your challenge early in the morning at the end of the week and finish with a celebration!

  • Fundraising challenge - Those who take part commit to raise £10,000.

  • Spiritual challenge - You will deepen your understanding of the bible through daily group devotions and team times. This will help you to process your experiences and grow in your faith. You will meet persecuted Christians and hear their stories, pray together and encourage each other. Be prepared to be challenged and transformed as you make friends with members of your persecuted family.

"It is a life changing challenge. What started out as a fund raising physical challenge ended up being a Spiritual growing spurt with God giving us all so much more than we ever expected."
- Pamela, Muskathlete
