Skydiving and Parachuting ChallengesWe are partnering with Skyline to give you the opportunity to take to the skies for the Persecuted Church. We are looking for adventurous volunteers to take part in our skydiving and parachuting challenges. All you need to do is sign up and raise over the minimum sponsorship level to cover the costs of the skydive. These challenges are available at over 20 Skyline centres across the UK. "I'm so pleased I did the skydive for Open Doors. After a nervous flight up we took the leap - it was a surreal mix of excitement, cold winds, exhilaration, deep breaths, clouds, spectacular views, and a relieved sense of achievement at the bottom! All in all a great experience and brilliant way to support some fantastic projects all over the world." Tandem Skydiving A tandem skydive is the perfect choice for beginners. Harnessed to a fully qualified instructor no formal training is required. Sign up and experience the thrill of freefall from 10,000 feet at speeds of 120mph. Static Line Parachuting Complete a parachute jump that puts you in full control. Experience the exhilarating freedom of parachuting from 3,000 feet and navigating yourself back to the landing zone. A one-day training course is required. Not for the faint hearted! Accelerate Freefall Serious about skydiving? For the ultimate personal challenge, skydive solo from 10,000 feet accompanied by two instructors. A one-day training course is required.
