How much will it cost?
There is a non-refundable Registration Fee of £35 and the cost of the trips range from around £700.

What Insurance do I need?
Open Doors will arrange your Insurance for a cost of about £40.  We strongly recommend that you use our Insurance and not your own as it is fully comprehensive, including risks specific to your trip.

What Age do I need to be?
You need to be over 18.  If you are over 65 we will need a Doctor’s Certification that you are fit to travel.

Who books the Flights and what about Visa’s?
Open Doors will arrange all your flights and we can arrange Visa’s for you at an additional cost if you would like us to.

Who will I go with?
Ministry Teams are usually international but those arranged by Open Doors UK & Ireland are normally people from this region.

Will I meet other Team members before travelling?
You may be given an opportunity to meet the rest of your Team before you leave if it’s a large group, or you may only meet upon your arrival.

What will I take?
Some Bibles, or study guides, or training materials, or Sunday School resources, according to the need in the area you are travelling to.

Who will I visit?
Hopefully some fellow Believers!  However, we cannot guarantee that you will meet believers on all trips as in some countries it is unsafe for them to be seen with Western Christians.  Please see the Travel Brochure for more country-specific information.

What will I experience?
Trips provide first-hand experience of the needs of persecuted Christians.  You will be able to pray with them offering much needed encouragement and support and by so doing, be part of a bigger picture – strengthening God’s people!

How will I know where to go?
