Giving options
With so many easy, tax-efficient ways to give, the only difficulty is deciding which ones to choose.
That is why I have outlined below some of the ways you can give to persecuted Christians in partnership with Open Doors.
Cheques
Please make cheques payable to Open Doors UK
and post them to us at:
PO Box 6 | Witney | Oxon OX29 6WG
Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer, you can make your gifts worth nearly 30% more with Gift Aid – at no extra cost to you.
And if you pay higher rate tax, you can include the donations you make on your tax return and further reduce the tax you pay.
You can fill in an online Gift Aid Declaration form now, or Download a Gift Aid Declaration form in PDF format (179 Kb) to print out, fill in and post to us.
Regular Giving
To give regular, monthly gifts to help persecuted Christians where most needed, you can download
a Direct Debit Form in PDF format
(includes a Gift Aid form) or if you live in the Republic of Ireland, download a Standing Order form instead.
Giving Shares
Donating stocks, shares and investments is an ideal way to give tax-effectively. Open Doors has prepared a simple guide which shows you how gifting shares can make them worth much more to Open Doors.

Leaving a Legacy
Including Open Doors in your Will is a wonderful way of ensuring that persecuted
Christians will benefit after you go home, to be with Lord. When writing
or revising your Will, it is easy to include Open Doors as a beneficiary.
Download our Legacy Giving Fact Sheet in PDF format (64 Kb) or email us and ask for our FREE Legacy Pack.
Personal Charitable Trust
The ideal way to make a lasting contribution to a causes you care about.
The Charity Commission provide model documents to make it easy for you to
set up your own charitable trust.
Payroll Giving
Simple tax-effective giving
direct from your pay plus a 10% bonus.
If your employer has a payroll giving scheme, you can specify causes you
want to support, such as Open Doors. Currently the government is adding
an additional 10% to payroll gifts.
Opening a Charity Account
You can open a charity account with an organisation like Stewardship
Services or Charities
Aid Foundation. You can make tax-effective donations to Open Doors through
charity vouchers, cheques or by CharityCard.
I would be delighted to provide you with further information or clarification. Putting your support to best and effective use is very important to us. Please do write or give me a call:
