Walk to the Water - 13 September 2008

Five miles. The average distance a woman in rural China, India, Africa or the Middle East walks each day to get water.

Christian women living in many of these countries are persecuted for their faith; disowned and destitute, they walk to the water alone.

Join Open Doors' Women to Women ministry in a five-mile walk in the shoes of these women raise awareness of the Persecuted Church and generate funds to support Christian women facing persecution.

A day to hear up-to-date details about what is happening in the Persecuted Church around the world, including news, DVDs, travellers tales and more. There will also be opportunities to engage in the ministry of Open Doors, to support and stand alongside our suffering brothers and sisters.
