In 1955, a young Bible student called Andrew, boarded on a train and went to Poland. There, behind the Iron Curtain, he met Christians who were being persecuted because of their faith. It was the start of a lifetime’s journey of support for the persecuted church and the beginning of what would become Open Doors.
‘Brother Andrew’ as he became known, told the story of this – and other adventures – in his book God's Smuggler. To celebrate the anniversary of that momentous journey, Open Doors worked with Hodder to produce a special 60th anniversary edition of the book, with fascinating photos, up-to-date information about Open Doors and a new epilogue.
To help you pray, support and speak up for the persecuted church, we would be delighted to send you a copy of this book, absolutely free of charge. Maybe reading it will change your life as well!
Scary soldiers, death-defying dares, bold prayers, true love, and miracles. It’s all there in Secret Smuggler! Beautifully illustrated and just right for children, Secret Smuggler is a short adaptation of God’s Smuggler.
