Many families tell how their children run home after school to see if the post has arrived, often hanging up the most colourful cards on their walls. Bola Ojebisis, whose husband was killed in the Jos bloodbath of 2009, tells how letters and cards from Open Doors supporters gave her son and daughter something to look forward to.
