Our free monthly magazine
Every month, up-to-date information on the persecuted church and how Open Doors is making a difference, serving persecuted Christians worldwide.
The magazine includes:
Latest issue - May 2013
Disciples in Danger
In this month's magazine we explore the dangers of following Jesus in the Horn of Africa, with a particular focus on Ethiopia and Eritrea. We also tell the inspirational stories of Gladys and Damaris, two Kenyan widows transformed by letters of love from Open Doors supporters. Plus find out how you can encourage children to pray for their persecuted family with the new Kidzone Prayer Journal and World Watch Map!
Speaking through the Storm
It's been over two years since the start of the Arab Spring. The April magazine looks at the changing situation for Christians in the Arab World, focusing particularly on Egypt, where Christians are sharing Christ's love with Muslims with help from Open Doors' Bible and literacy projects. We also report on how Open Doors is strengthening the church in Syria, thanks to the incredible response to our Syria emergency appeal.
Women of the persecuted church
In this issue you will read about lots of projects that Open Doors runs for women in the persecuted church. But whatever the activity, whether it's discipleship training, literacy classes or teaching women employment skills, the common thread runing through all of them is that in God's eyes, women are valued, loved, cherished.
We start the year by reporting on the situation for Christians where faith costs the most - inside the labour camps of North Korea. We bring you news from Colombia to Kazakhstan. And we give you lots of ideas on how you can support your persecuted family in 2013.
