"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress..."
James 1:27 Right now, millions of Christian women across the world are suffering. They are abused, belittled and have no voice in their homes and communities. Often they are merely regarded as property to be sold into marriage. Many are denied an education and cannot read the Word of God for themselves.
Disowned and destitute – will you speak out for your sisters-in-Christ?
Through Women to Women you can stand alongside Christian women who share our faith but not our freedom. With your prayers and support you can make a difference.
Walk to Water - 13 September 2008
 |
The average distance a woman in rural
China, India, Africa or the Middle East walks each day to get water is five
miles.
Christian women living in many
of these countries are persecuted for
their faith; disowned and destitute, they walk to the water alone. |
Use your freedom! Walk for five miles to
a water source near you. Pray for these
persecuted Christian women as you walk,
get sponsorship and the funds you raise can make a real
difference to their lives.
