China is a vast country of 1.3 billion people. The number of Christians is estimated as being between 60 and 100 million. It is a well documented fact that the Chinese church is in grave need of Bible training and supportive materials to help its members grow and mature.

Demand for Christian literature is great, not only to equip existing Christians but to guide new converts of which it is thought there are between 15-30,000 every day!

The ministry trips planned for 2008 combine delivering materials with visiting two, three or even four different towns or cities where there will be opportunitities to meet with local Christians and hear their stories.

Sixty Transformed Marriages Impact One Whole

Restored marriages can wonderfully impact whole communities in rural China. Such was the testimony of a pastor from central China at the end of one marriage course he had conducted. Having seen the impact of Open Doors’ marriage course in the lives of his church members and how it was drawing non-believers from the community to their church, he commented that it was the "cheapest way to evangelize."
