Egypt

Egypt is "the Gateway to Africa" and is a rare combination of the world's most impressive historic monuments, colourful inhabitants and wonderful climate.

A Muslim country intolerant of Christians means that they do not believe in salvation or the promise of eternal life. Jesus is a very appealing person to them as a result – if they know about him as their Saviour and not just "a Healer".

Egypt has the biggest Christian Church is the Middle East and is experiencing a great deal of persecution – this is especially true for those who have converted to Christianity from a Muslim background.

Our trip will include visits to local churches and church leaders, meetings with individuals (who will share something of their work or testimony) and witnessing the transformation that is taking place as a result of our ministry of literature distribution, training and livelihood projects which you have supported and prayed for.

There will also be an opportunity to learn more about Islam and visit those world-famous sights!

"Egypt was my first experience in the Middle East... it was exciting to meet a Muslim convert for whom we had been praying for many months. Presence ministry will bless you as well as all those you meet."

"An experience that changed my view of Muslim Background Believers – I would give anything to have their faith and joy."
