"I have been blessed by Open Doors team since the day I was arrested and tried. Since I stayed in prison one year ago, I have been taken care of by Open Doors. I already had everything I needed at the former prison – a bed, a closet and reasonably good food. Then I was abruptly transferred to another prison. For the second time, I had nothing. But praise the Lord, although this is a prison people are most afraid of – and it does feel stricter here! – God’s servant (Open Doors’ local partner) was already stationed here. And today, I rejoice because our dear friends from Open Doors are here with us, during this worship service."

"Through this training, I have learned to make fertilizer, cultivate the land and build a well... I receive income at every harvest, which we would submit to our treasurer and receive at Christmas or New Year. We would use it to buy more seeds. Because I know the cultivating steps by heart, I know I would do a good job although our trainer has left us."
- Participant of agricultural training in post-conflict Seram

"Although I cannot save money yet, I can meet my daily needs and my children’s schooling. If I pray, God would send more customers. My business is doing well because I sell all kinds of goods..."
