The Middle East and North AfricaDates for 2012 coming soon Think camels and ancient cities, hot winds and deserts and imagine yourself right in the middle of all those exotic smells and tastes. As you travel the sands and roads of the Middle East, you will find that centuries of passing time have brought about little change. But while time may have largely forgotten these cultures, God has not. Under the heat of persecution His church continues to thrive in vibrant, underground communities of the faithful. As Islam expands its influence in every-widening circles, the followers of Christ are finding new and powerful ways to bring freedom to those living in fear behind their Muslim masks. You will be amazed and humbled if you are lucky enough to meet and share life with Arabic believers who have come to call Jesus Christ their Lord. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ItineraryYou will form part of a small group of between ten and sixteen people. Due to the confidential nature of the trip you will not be able to tell people much about your visit. Circumstances can lead to a change in your itinerary at a moment's notice, so you need to be very flexible. If it is a courier trip, once the delivery is made you will go on to follow your own tourist itinerary, whilst praying for the country and people - the tour will be arranged through a local travel agent. You will need to be in good health and good physical condition to travel in these countries as these trips are physically and spiritually demanding. Please note: Due to the nature of our ministry, not all travel opportunities can be advertised. More information is available on request. These trips are primarily for those who have already travelled with Open Doors. Speaking French or Arabic would be very helpful. Attending a briefing is compulsory.
