We're building a network of skilled and experienced team leaders who can connect with their local volunteers and nurture each person in their volunteering.
You are...
- a motivating team builder with an eye for spotting strengths, needs and potential for growth
- people minded with a gifting to connect people into community
- infectious in your enthusiasm for a vision and know how to relate to a diverse range of people
- servant hearted in your approach to leadership
- inspired to see others motivated to help persecuted Christians in practical ways
You will be...
- getting to know your local team of volunteers and keep in touch with them individually (at least 4 times per year)
- motivating and nurturing your volunteers to make sure they experience 100% satisfaction and with 100% impact
- encouraging your volunteers to recruit new volunteers
- building a sense of community, arranging for the team to meet together annually and maybe take on a 'team challenge'
- finding creative ways to encourage and appreciate your team
- liaising with us over your progress
- experiencing the blessing of seeing individuals stepping out of their comfort zone and offering their time and gifts to help persecuted Christians

We will help you by training you in the voluntary activities within Open Doors' ministry and our vision to see this grow. We will keep you informed of the volunteers in your team. We will be on hand to offer leadership advice and support and listen to your feedback. We will link you with other Team Leaders (where possible) and reimburse reasonable expenses such as travelling costs.
