Open Doors is a Christian charity, part of Open Doors International, a global NGO network which works in over 60 countries to support and strengthen persecuted Christians. Last year the UK base raised approximately £12 million to provide practical support to persecuted Christians such as food, medicines, trauma care, legal assistance, safe houses and schools, as well as spiritual support through Christian literature, training and resources. The Marketing and Communications team plays a huge part in raising awareness and generating support for the work that we do.
We are looking for a Christian* Marketing Communications Coordinator to support the team in their processes, projects and marketing campaigns in this newly created role. You’ll be at the hub of the team and will be responsible for preparing background documents, managing diaries, minuting meetings, processing invoices, arranging logistics, and implementing improvements to current operating practices. Essentially, you’ll make things run smoothly– you’ll need to be one step ahead of the game and understand what the team needs to achieve its goals.
Experience working on marketing projects or working on projects in the charity sector will be really useful, or, you’ll have the skills we need and a keen interest in rapidly learning in this area of work. You’ll definitely be proactive, well-organised and an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills.
If you are looking to develop and learn within an inspiring team in a God-filled, fun, and professional environment, then we’d love to hear from you.
