We are looking for a young adults volunteer coordinator to join our team. This role will report to the innovation manager and work closely with the volunteer development manager and advocacy team to recruit and equip young adult volunteers who will share the work of Open Doors here in the UK within their own spaces.

You’ll need to have both strong administration and organization skills together with fantastic relationship building abilities to do this role. Part of your time will be spent in the office contacting the volunteers, coordinating a programme for their work, including training and networking opportunities, and encouraging them in what they are doing, and part of your time with be spent going out and speaking about the work of Open Doors and meeting young adults who are keen to advocate our work.

You’ll be a *Christian yourself with an easy ability to connect with people in the young adult age category and you’ll know which groups, forums, conferences and festivals they go to. You’ll be excited by what Open Doors does and share this enthusiasm with the people you meet and work with, gathering up those who are equally passionate and committed about serving persecuted Christians, raising up even more awareness and support.

If this all sounds like something you can get on board with and you’re looking for a new challenge then we’d love to hear from you and if you’d like a chat about the role please contact Emma our innovations manager on 01993 460015.
