"I have been provided with food, clothing, school fees, and most of all prayers. At the time I lost my husband, I felt useless and hopeless but God sent you people as angels to raise me up and give me hope." Damaris, Nigerian widow
Across the world, extreme persecution is increasing - and so are the needs of our brothers and sisters. Now more than ever, we have the opportunity to transform the lives of hundreds of thousands of persecuted Christians.
Open Doors works through local partners and churches to strengthen persecuted believers in Africa through Bible distribution, leadership and trauma care training, emergency relief, community development and advocacy support.
Will you be there for your persecuted brothers and sisters for as long as it takes? Your prayers and support could be the answer to the prayers of a believer facing extreme persecution.
- £20 can provide food aid to a hungry family in the region for two weeks, to help them survive.
- £30 can provide two days of trauma care training for a church leader or lay leader in Africa, so they can help others begin to recover from their traumatic experiences of persecution.
- £51 could provide training to three persecuted Christians in Africa to help them generate their own income and restore their dignity.
