// Take Action

Many of us want to get fitter and stronger, but how about achieving that whilst fundraising to support your Syrian and Iraqi church family?

Every £52 could provide emergency relief for two families in Syria for a month. This could include food, clothing, medicines, shelter, and heating during the freezing winter

Every £235 could provide training for one person or help a family open a small business in Syria

Every £4,000 could rebuild a house in Syria or Iraq

There are many running events organised up and down the UK. If you would like us to help you locate one near you, please get in touch by emailing challenge@opendoorsuk.org

Well done David Craig and Graham Jennings for completing the 2018 Belfast City Marathon! The route is renowned for being a tough challenge in particular the notorious hill section of the Antrim Road. Graham said of the race, “I ran with a painful knee injury at the start but thankfully it bedded in and I kept on completing in 5hr 23min, no mean feat. I was spurred on by the £22/mile pledged and by the amazing support of many people I did not know cheering.” Graham ran the marathon as a practice for his Jordan Muskathlon.
