Give hope to a family in Syria

Thousands of Christians in Syria have been forced to flee their homes to escape the violence of war and extremism, but remain within the nation. Many are simply too poor or infirm to leave the country. Others feel called by God to stay and serve their people.

Almost 10,000 families in Syria are relying on Open Doors for emergency food supplies every month. One of our local partners, Pastor Samuel* from Aleppo, says: “We are all trying to do our best to… provide God's hope in a hopeless situation."

Would you like to give to both Iraq and Syria?

Are you giving as a church?

By giving to our Christmas Angel Appeal, you can help thousands of displaced families in Syria to survive with emergency food supplies, and strengthen their faith with the Word of God.

  • A gift of £21 can help provide three Bibles to give comfort to believers who have fled their homes with nothing, and to help new believers learn more about Jesus.
  • A gift of £45 can provide long-term leadership and discipleship training courses for three church leaders to strengthen them and enable them to build the church in the Middle East.
  • A gift of £71 today can provide an emergency food parcel to feed a family of five in Syria for a month, along with medicines, blankets, and assistance with medical care and rent payments.

God's Smuggler

Your free copy of God's Smuggler

To celebrate our 60th anniversary year, we'd like to send you a free copy of God's Smuggler, Brother Andrew's best-selling book. We hope it will inspire you as you say 'Yes' to God - just as Brother Andrew did when he followed God's call to meet with persecuted Christians in 1955. And if you already have one, why not pray about who you could give it to for their encouragement?
