Come and meet your extraordinary family from North Korea, Nigeria and Syria
Save £5 per ticket when you book before 1 August!
You are invited to join us for a day to celebrate how God is building His kingdom in the most dangerous countries to be a Christian. This is a unique opportunity to meet your church family from North Korea, Nigeria and Syria who are facing violence and persecution because of their faith. Come and hear amazing stories of God’s faithfulness and how our brothers and sisters are standing strong through the fiercest storms.
At Standing Strong, join with hundreds of others in worship and prayer and find out how you can support your persecuted family. Learn more about the global trends of persecution and the work Open Doors is doing to support those whose faith costs them the most.
Meet Tirham* from Nigeria, who will be speaking about her work to bind up the broken hearts of women and girls in Nigeria who have suffered violent persecution – much of it at the hands of Islamic extremist groups like Boko Haram. Tirham’s vital ministry is made possible through your support, which is enabling Open Doors local partners like her to provide trauma care workshops for persecuted women.
Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to be inspired by the courageous faith of others and encouraged in your own faith! Invite your family, friends and church and get 30% off your adult ticket price.
Early bird adult ticket £10 (after 31 July this will be £15)
We will once again be running our popular children’s programme in Birmingham. Children (aged 5-11) will learn about Brother Andrew’s adventures, the persecuted church, and what it’s like to be a secret believer through age-appropriate resources. Spaces are limited – book early to avoid disappointment!
Due to the sensitive content shared by our speakers we do advise caution if you are planning on bringing young children into the main auditorium.
