See. Change. in Malvern

Great Malvern Priory have hosted a joint exhibition of the "I See You" handmade petition and the Tears of Gold resource, helping parishioners pray for persecuted Christian women.

The Open Doors office has been a sea of fabric, with all the handmade petition squares sent in as part of our See. Change. campaign for women.

But before sending their handmade petition squares onto Open Doors, supporters at Great Malvern Priory put them on display for all the visitors to see.

I See You petitions

The handmade petition says "I see you" to women who are persecuted for their faith and their gender.

“Already many folk who have visited the Priory have commented how inspired they have been,” said Rosemary Webster, the Open Doors church representative at the church.

Tears of Gold

To accompany the squares, the church also displayed Tears of Gold, a free resource for homegroups and churches which uses the portraits of seven courageous, faithful Nigerian women to show how trauma can be transformed by God’s love.

The pack includes a service guide to help people pray for persecuted women, and an interactive small group session which is perfect for prayer groups, small groups or house groups.

Or why not put on an exhibition of the portraits yourself? The free Tears of Gold Exhibition pack includes full-size portraits which you can display in your church, home or any suitable venue. It’s a great way to share stories of the persecuted and encourage prayer and support.
