Prayer request for Christians arrested in Eritrea

Please pray for 141 Christians in Eritrea who were arrested by security agents last week (Friday 10 May) in Eritrea's capital city Asmara.

Please pray for 141 Christians in Eritrea who were arrested by security agents last week (Friday 10 May) in Eritrea's capital city Asmara.

The 104 women, 23 men and 14 minors were rounded up from the Mai Temenai area of the city. Officials separated the men and women before taking the men to Adi Abeito prison and the women to Police Station Number 4.

None of them have yet been charged, and there is concern about the wellbeing of the minors and the elderly among them.

Please stand with our persecuted family in prayer.

PLEASE PRAY:

  • That all the believers would experience the comfort and peace of the Lord as they endure this persecution
  • For the Lord's spiritual and physical provision for them
  • That they would not be ruled by fear, but power, love and a sound mind
  • That the Lord would glorify himself through the testimonies of these believers.
