Susanna Koh, wife of the abducted pastor Raymond, was recently questioned by the police after meeting with the taskforce set up to investigate her husband's kidnapping.

Many of you have been praying for Susanna Koh and her husband Pastor Raymond Koh for several years. Pastor Raymond was kidnapped in 2017, taken in broad daylight. A Human Rights Commission concluded that the Special Branch of the Malaysian police were involved. He is still missing.

A special taskforce to investigate the abduction was established earlier in the year. This was announced by the Malaysian Home Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin, and Susanna Koh was recently visited by 20 members of the taskforce. Three days later, she and Jon, her son, were called in for questioning by the police. 

“Their line of questioning was about investigating us, and not finding Pastor Raymond. It felt more like harassment than helping us find him,” says Susanna. 

Still no news

There is still no news about what happened to Raymond Koh, but his wife won’t stop looking for answers – seeking God constantly for guidance and wisdom. 

She and her family have been travelling all over the world to share their testimony and request prayers. Last month Susanna and Jon shared about Raymond in Helsinki, Finland, and at a church in London. She’s also had an opportunity to tell the story further afield:

“Mediacorp Singapore also came over here to shoot a documentary series called ‘Missing’, about people who have disappeared,” says Susanna. “It will come out in November. May God use it for His Glory.” 

In the coming months, she will be heading to various other meetings and church events in both Malaysia, Singapore and South Korea, promoting the book, Where is Pastor Raymond Koh? and sharing their story.

In Susanna’s update, she quoted Revelation 7:9. It reads, “After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.” This vision for God’s ultimate plan gives her hope and encouragement while she waits to hear about her missing husband.
