BREAKFAST: The World
This week, we are focusing on Hope. And we're sharing breakfast - just like Jesus did with his disciples after His resurrection. Jesus' resurrection is the ultimate sign of victory. Today His resurrection is lived out in the lives of the persecuted Christians, who face the evil that surrounds them with the knowledge that Christ has the victory.
Prepare your table with these two placemat designs. Placemats for adults/teens include a quiz, real-life story, Bible verse, and discussion question. Children's placemats include a picture to colour in, a real-life story, an easy-to-read version of the Bible verse, and a short prayer.
An Easter Morning Service
Fast Food was originally designed as a Lent resource, which culminated in an Easter morning breakfast. So this outline for a Fast Food Family-Friendly Breakfast Service focuses on Easter day - but the message of resurrection and new life is worth celebrating all year round.

Prayer by a Syrian Christian
Thank you, Lord,
For all that you have done and are still doing.
I trust your will is always good and finally you will turn evil to good.
I know you are not silent, but patient...
But how long will it take, Lord?
I am looking forward to a new beginning amongst my people.
My own desire is that evil will stop and that we see your glory shine again in the darkness.
I’m longing for healing, for restoration.
I cry out to you, Lord.
I’m longing for a new generation to take their place in your kingdom,
To be the light and salt of this nation.
Help me to see my role in this transformation.
Protect me and be with me.
Carry me, day by day.
