Pray as a Church

Resources to help your church pray for our brothers and sisters

“From our youngest children through to our old brothers and sisters, everyone knows the power of prayer…”

Pastor Timothy is a church leader in China. Now in his seventies, he has lived through many times of persecution.

Prayer is the life-blood of the persecuted church. “It doesn’t matter what we are facing, or what we have been accused of, we all pray,” says Pastor Timothy. “Everyone knows that as soon as persecution comes, we first drop to the ground and pray.”

“Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray” (James 5:13).

To pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters is to rediscover power and privilege of prayer.

Prayer Resources

Book a speaker

Don’t forget, you can book an Open Doors speaker for your church service or prayer meeting.  Our team of speakers are located all over the UK and Ireland and would love the opportunity to help people to pray with their persecuted brothers and sisters.

Prayer groups

Many churches around the UK and Ireland have prayer groups dedicated to praying for the persecuted church. Why not start one at your church? Contact our Inspire Team on 01993 460015 or contact@opendoorsuk.org for more information.

Get involved

Your support helps persecuted Christians continue to courageously follow Jesus. Together, we can reach those where persecution hits hardest.
