Speakers for every age and stage of church life

We want to build faith, stir courage, and strengthen the local church by standing shoulder to shoulder with our persecuted church family around the world.

Our speakers travel across the UK and Ireland to share powerful, real-life stories that will shape how your congregation understands and engages with the persecuted church and embolden them to live for Jesus in their locality.

Whether it’s a Sunday service, a midweek gathering, or a youth event, we tailor every message to encourage, equip, and inspire your community.

    Frequently asked questions

Do you charge for a speaker to come to our church?

    +
No, our speaker ministry is completely free. We believe every church should have the opportunity to connect with the persecuted church regardless of their size or resources. If you’d like to take a collection or make a donation to support the work of Open Doors, that’s very welcome but never expected.

How far in advance should we book?

    +
We recommend booking at least 6–8 weeks in advance to ensure availability, though we can sometimes accommodate shorter notice requests. For major events or specific dates, booking 3–6 months ahead is advisable.

Can we request a specific topic or country focus?

    +
Our speakers can often accommodate requests for specific countries or themes where possible. Let us know your preferences in the booking form and we’ll do our best to match you with a speaker who can meet your needs.

What AV equipment do you need?

    +
Ideally, we’d like access to a projector/screen and sound system for showing videos and images. However, our speakers are flexible and can adapt to whatever setup you have available. We’ll discuss technical requirements when confirming your booking.

Can the speaker stay for Q&A after the talk?

    +
Yes, most of our speakers are happy to stay for questions, either as part of the main session or afterwards over refreshments. Just let us know your preference and we’ll factor it into the planning.
