Christians who count the highest cost

Your regular gifts enable Open Doors to stand with our persecuted family, providing Bibles and Christian literature, biblical and discipleship training, literacy and livelihood projects, and advocacy support – wherever it is needed, and for as long as it is needed.
Fundraising plays a crucial in this, with Open Doors supporters raising almost £128,000 through various challenges in 2025 – including marathons, cake, book, jam and plant sales, quiz nights and afternoon teas. “I learnt about Open Doors in Sunday Club,” says Sophie McKinstry, a young supporter in Northern Ireland who raised £3,425 for a 50km cycle ride. “This inspired me to celebrate my ninth birthday with a fundraiser to support their work. I feel very fortunate for my freedom, but sad for those who are persecuted for their faith in Jesus.”
Across the world, enormous numbers of men, women and children received support and encouragement thanks to your generosity. From microloans and livelihood projects to trauma care to emergency relief aid to smuggled Bibles, lives were changed because of your faithful prayers and support. Thank you!
