Christians who count the highest cost

Your regular gifts enable Open Doors to stand with our persecuted family, providing Bibles and Christian literature, biblical and discipleship training, literacy and livelihood projects, and advocacy support – wherever it is needed, and for as long as it is needed.

Fundraising activities were one way you helped raise money for our persecuted family, including nine-year-old Joel from Northern Ireland. He ran a mile a day in May for persecuted Christians and raised over £500! “The running is ok, but I don’t enjoy it every day,” he said. “It’s worth it because people are giving lots of money to help persecuted Christians.”

Across the world, enormous numbers of men, women and children received support and encouragement thanks to your generosity. From microloans and livelihood projects to trauma care to emergency relief aid to smuggled Bibles, lives were changed because of your faithful prayers and support. Thank you!

The words of Bishop Chimon Daniel, who ministers in Iraq and partners with Open Doors to help strengthen the Iraqi church, typifies the impact of your support worldwide: “I would like to thank you on behalf of my community, my people, the Iraqi Christians, for your unconditional love and support… With your help, we are able to light the torch of hope in the hearts of the Christians to become the salt and light of this country. So, thank you so much and God bless you.”
