YOU CAN REACH BELIEVERS IN EVERY CORNER OF INDIA WITH VITAL SUPPORT
When Sujit, a church leader in rural India, tried to build a church in his village, it was destroyed three times.
Who destroyed it? The Hindu extremist group RSS. They have publically stated their aim to make India free of Christians by 31 December 2021. When Sujit tried to stop them from destroying his church building the third time, they hit him over the head with a brick and beat him.
Last year, 24,000 Christians were attacked in India. As persecution in India becomes more extreme, Open Doors local church partners have a plan to double their impact. Your prayers, monthly gifts and long-term support can help them reach Christians in every corner of India with practical, legal and spiritual support.
- Every £22 could resource a local Rapid Response team for a month as they bring emergency aid to victims of violence, such as food and medical care.
- Every £67 could provide persecution survival training for four church leaders like Sujit, training them in a biblical response to persecution and helping them to understand their legal rights.
