Open Doors is a Christian charity that is looking to recruit active, practicing Christians to give, act and, pray on behalf of persecuted Christians worldwide. Every day, millions of Christians risk their lives to follow Jesus. In more than 70 countries, Open Doors supports them by supplying Bibles, providing emergency relief and helping persecuted believers stand strong for the long-term.

We’re seeking a Director of Advocacy & Public Affairs* with the desire and gifting to strengthen Christians in the suffering church. The successful candidate will lead and manage advocacy and PR within a context of missional ambition and growth.

You will be pivotal in ensuring that our strategy of working with leaders and politicians to change global policies gathers momentum, and in promoting Open Doors successfully so it becomes the lead voice and influence in issues of freedom of religion or belief.

We seek someone with significant strategic leadership and management experience who is agile in mindset, inspirational, and visionary to drive greater organisational effectiveness.

In a period of significant growth for Open Doors and of global change and challenge, this is a key spiritual and strategic leadership opportunity.

This role is part of the Leadership Team of Open Doors UK & Ireland.
