  • Do you have a heart for helping Christians facing persecution?
  • Do you want to encourage the church in the UK?
  • Would you like to help bridge the gap between the UK church and the persecuted church?

Open Doors is a Christian charity that is looking to recruit active, practicing Christians to stand in the GAP (give, act, pray) on behalf of persecuted Christians worldwide. Every day, millions of Christians risk their lives to follow Jesus. In more than 70 countries, Open Doors supports them by supplying Bibles, providing emergency relief and helping persecuted believers stand strong for the long-term.

We’re looking for a Christian* to join our Supporter Relations Team, to help us honour and build relationships with our supporters and inspire them to continue to support the persecuted church. This will involve answering and making phone calls to churches, volunteers, and other supporters, and communicating with them by email and face-to-face at events.

You’ll need to be confident using our systems and following procedures, competent in your IT skills, good at inspiring people, listening to them, facilitating their requests, and be comfortable praying with our supporters over the phone. Most importantly, you’ll need excellent people skills.

For an informal chat about the role, you’re welcome to contact our Supporter Relations Team Leader or Supervisor on 01993 460015.

You will have the opportunity to use your God-given character and talents to contribute to the work of Open Doors and to work with integrity and with purpose. We offer a flexible role with a good work-life balance, huge job satisfaction and employee benefits. You will work with some inspirational people and there are plenty of opportunities to develop your career.

We welcome applications from candidates of different backgrounds. If you are a Christian* looking to make an impact and seeking a new challenge in 2026, here’s how to apply:

Closing date: Monday, 5 January 2026, 12pm
Interview: Wednesday, 14 January 2026

If you experience any issues with the online application, email: recruitteam@opendoorsuk.org

*There is an occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 for this post to be held by an active, practising Christian who assents to our statement of faith (see website).
